About the Honey Story
This is a day in the life of a basic, hobbyist turned semi-commercial Kiwi Beekeeper.. showing highs and lows and everything in between.. You will see the up coming harvest, and can look back on the previous harvests..
Great for people interested in beekeeping, or with there own hives, to see what we do at certain times of year. The constant battle for controlling Varroa, Argentine Ants and the on going health checks for American Foul Brood. Queen breeding, re-queening and and striving to keep the hives in the best possible health, so they can thrive !
A relaxed calm way of handling our hives mean you will very rarely see Pete or I fully suited. An easy, natural, ethical approach, resulting in happy hives & the purest honey that could possibly bee !!
