This seasons Manuka honey is paler than usual, due to the abundance of pohutukawa this year. Because of the cold early summer, our harvest of Manuka was considerably smaller. My guess is the bees have mixed a tiny bit of pale Pohutukawa in, resulting in the pale colour ! We have had it Laboratory tested and the rating is surprisingly high, being a 6.5 NPA and that will rise as it matures.
The flavour of this honey is outstanding, and it has the great benefits of a Medicinal Certified Manuka Honey
